This is a completely new site. First time installing WordPress, and the only theme installed.

The only plugins installed are the suggested plugins when I installed Gillion. No other plugins.

I imported the demo data. The website looks okay, but the “frontend” Customizer is broken.

I have no idea how to fix this.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I deleted the site and completely reinstalled. This time, I did not import any of the sample data.

The Customizer is still broken. Very unusable.

Due to the new site, I provided the new credentials in the private information field.

Please help. I would like to start working with this theme.

    Thanks!

    More information…

    1. I have cleared my browser cache and restarted. No change.

    2. I have used Chrome and Edge. The same issue in both browsers, and this should mean no browser extensions is causing this issue.

Sorry for all of the replies, but I have more information.

Up until now, I have only wanted to start working with the customization.

Just now, I tested adding a new post. I get an error, “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”

Again, I have not added any plugins. This is a brand new site and I have only installed the Gillion theme. Nothing else.

I have added the error in the private information field.

    Hi there,

We activated the default WordPress theme and it had the same issues. So it seems that is somehow related to your website installation.

We recommend reaching out to your hosting provider. They should be able to help you.

    Best regards,

Thank you for getting back to me.

After reinstalling again and then working with my hosting support, I think we narrowed it down to an issue with the CDN. After changing that and purging the caches, it seems to be working now!Ā  šŸ™‚

I’m not sure how to mark this as “resolved”. We can either delete this ticket/thread or mark it as resolved.

    Thanks!
