Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Avoid escaping Javascript
Hello,
I tried to add some Javascript (Jevelin > Customize > Custom Code > JavaScript Code) but when I render the page, it seems HTML is escaped.
For example, this code:
for (let i=0; i<10; ++i) {
console.log(i);
}
is converted to:
for (let i=0; i< ;10; ++i) { console.log(i); }
You can see <
become < ;
… (I add a space before the “;” to keep it)
It’s very annoying.
Any solution to avoid this?
Hi @snake_heater,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
I could confirm the issue on my test site, therefore, I notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.
In the meanwhile, you can use any of the below plugins to use javascript code on your website.
