Changing the body font size via the control panel does not have any effect on the body font size on the website, had this problem since going to Jevelin V5, the latest update also does not fix the problem.

I could confirm the issue on my test site, therefore, I notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.

The upcoming theme version will contain a fix for the issue.
The issue is fixed in the below latest version of the theme so please update the theme as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/
