Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Can’t seem to get Google Maps API to work.
Hi there,
I am trying to add Google Maps to my website contact page but it isn’t working. As far as I can tell, WordPress isn’t even using my API key even though I have set it in the right place in Theme Settings. When I try adding a location I get the following error in Chrome:
“You must use an API key to authenticate each request to Google Maps Platform APIs. For additional information, please refer to http://g.co/dev/maps-no-account For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services please see:”
Please can you help?
The page is: http://fcf.org.uk/get-in-touch/
Thanks
Solution for this topic
Hi there, I’ve finally figured out the problem. I wasn’t including the http and https in the referrer restriction in Google Cloud Console! Please close my ticket.
Awesome great to see you got that figured out.
Please advise if you have more questions.
Have a fantastic day!
