Hi
Since the last update, the search console has reported this errors on the amp:
“The text in the “style amp-custom” tag contains “CSS! Important”, which is not allowed”
“There is a CSS syntax error in the “style amp-custom” tag”
“You need to replace the “img” tag with an equivalent “amp-img” tag”
How do we solve this?
Hi @tEhfo,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
This is a known issue that will be resolved ASAP in the future version of the theme.
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
Ok, thanks.
Any deadlines? This is kind of urgent because google is not showing AMP pages on the search and it drops our traffic.
Thanks!!!
Yes, it will be fixed in the next theme update but we don’t have exact ETA.
In the meanwhile, you can just use the older version of the theme that is not causing you the issue.
Since everyone using your theme has this problem, you could just release a fix for that…
We’ll have to downgrade the theme… That’s not dangerous?
Yes, as said above we are fixing the issue and the updated theme version will be released soon.
Downgrading the theme is not dangerous but you can take a backup of your site for safety.
