I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
The Blog Slider element uses posts and not pages and there isn’t any other demo that uses it.
If you don’t want to use any widget then you can just remove the widget area as shown in the attached screenshot.

You can remove them from the theme post settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
