Hi, I’ve just started using the Jevelin theme today because I thought it might be a better option for SEO purposes than the Jupiter theme I’ve been using but I’ve ran into a problem.

My business is Video, and I use Wistia for embedding my videos to make use of the SEO data that get’s embedded with the video, but there doesn’t seem to be a way of embedding videos from Wistia in my portfolio posts, only Vimeo and YouTube videos.

Can anybody help and provide a workaround for using Wistia videos with Jevelin please, otherwise I might have to find another theme to use 🙁

    Many thanks in advance.

    Scott.

    Hi Scott,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Could you please tell me in which format you are getting Wistia videos by sharing sample of it so that i can help you to use it?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

So the link to the video looks like this

    https://motionvideosuk.wistia.com/medias/5aud5bl2gl

But the embed code looks like this

    <script src=”https://fast.wistia.com/embed/medias/5aud5bl2gl.jsonp&#8221; async></script><script src=”https://fast.wistia.com/assets/external/E-v1.js&#8221; async></script><div class=”wistia_responsive_padding” style=”padding:56.0% 0 0 0;position:relative;”><div class=”wistia_responsive_wrapper” style=”height:100%;left:0;position:absolute;top:0;width:100%;”><div class=”wistia_embed wistia_async_5aud5bl2gl videoFoam=true” style=”height:100%;width:100%”>&nbsp;</div></div></div>

You can directly try adding that code in the text editor mode of your portfolio post or if you are using page builder then use text block element as shown in the attached screenshots.

Thanks, but I don’t think that’s going to work. Embedding a video that way just puts a small video in the right column, I need a video to be big with the content below it like it appears in a regular video slider. Any other ideas?

In this case you can create html page containing the video code then use that page URL in the portfolio iframe URL field as shown in the attached screenshot or you have to develop custom code to achieve it.
