I am currently experiencing a very strange issue which is preventing the header and top bar which are set to appear on all pages (see screenshot 1), not appearing on the blog post pages (see screenshot 2).
This issue becomes even more unusual, as during troubleshooting, it was discovered that on mobile devices, the mobile header does not work at all on the blog post pages too (see screenshot 3 & 4).
In an attempt to try and determine what is causing the issue, I have done the following:
- Deactivated all plugins one by one to see if any of them are potentially causing the conflict.
- Switched themes from the Gillion Child to Gillion theme.
- Changed the header type.
- Used Yellow Pencil CSS to make sure the elements are on the global CSS.
- On a staging environment, deleted all plugins and installed them one by one.
- On a staging environment, deleted the theme and re-installed it (this caused even bigger problems and the blog posts don’t work at all).
- Spoken with my host providers support team to see if they have any insights.
None of the above have worked and i’m not sure what else to try which has left me feeling quite frustrated so I would appreciate some help from yourselves to see why this is happening and hopefully be able to help me fix it.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using the latest version of Gillion theme.
Please make sure that you have enabled it in the theme settings as shown in the attached screenshot and clear the cache that you are using on your website.
The Topbar does not display on mobile devices which is by design.

I appreciate that you likely receive a huge number of support tickets from users who haven’t read the documentation and ask very obvious questions and this I can only imagine that it is extremely frustrating.
Although I sympathise with your frustrations, I feel the response I have received from you about my issue to be wholly unacceptable.
Not only did I supply a description of the issue im experiencing, but I also included screenshots corresponding to each of the various states validating problem.
Had the individual who picked up my ticket bothered to read my issue and logically consider it, im certain they would have very quickly realised that the advice is inappropriate and somewhat irrelevant and adds another irritating 24hrs wait for someone else to respond.
Now back to the issue at hand, let me further clarify the issue a bit more.
I understand that the top bar is not available on mobile devices, I am not reporting this to be a fault and confirm that Gillion 3.5.5 is the parent theme version currently installed.
The faults being reported are as follows:
- When viewing the site on desktop, all pages should show both the top bar and the header with ad place and logo – this is no longer the case.
- The top bar and the header with ad place and logo no longer show on the blog post pages – please see the example screenshots in my original ticket.
- When viewing the site on mobile, all pages should show the header with the a centered logo, menu burger icon and the bookmark icons – this is no longer the case.
- The menu is permanently expanded showing all the categories, the logo is missing along with the bookmark icon – please see the example screenshots in my original ticket.
As stated in my original ticket, I have carried out many of the logical troubleshooting tasks to try and determine what is causing this but none of them helped narrow it down.

If this is ok then could you please temporarily share me your site admin login details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able to see it)”?
Okay you can assume everything that is supposed to be switched on to achieve the desired functionality is set to on.

I can give you access to the staging site, however I will first need to push the current production site to it to make sure its identical.
Also, I would appreciate it if someone inspected the elements using the developer tools as there is clearly an issue there where a section of the page on the broken pages simply isn’t included and I cannot work out why but one of your devs might.

Yes i can confirm that the top bar is set to active. However, I don’t understand why you can’t determine this by logically taking into consideration that the top bar is clearly visible on all the pages except the pages which im reporting to have issues.
Since there isn’t an option to switch on the top bar on some pages and not others it logically rules this out in my view.
The staging environment is now ready and the details are in the private info field.
Please let me know if you have any problems signing in etc.
I logged into your shared website and saw this is happening because of the custom code that you are using on your website as shown in the attached screenshot.
Please remove that code or make sure it is correct to resolve the issue.
Understood, can you confirm if this is directly related to the headers & footers plugin or is it any code placed in the head section of the site that will subsequently impact the Gillion Theme?
It is related to the code placed in the head section of the site.
Okay im guessing this is a known bug as this never used to be a problem in the past?
Also, if it is a bug, do you recommend any workaround for code that must be placed within the head section of the site in the meantime?
It is not a theme bug.
Please make sure that the code you are adding in the Heading section is correct or try adding it using other methods as described below.
