    Good morning…back again,

    I want to change the image on the home page of my site at (see below)

    As you can see from this screen shot (also below) I have changed the image in the Theme Settings but it is not changing on the theme.
    Can you tell me why?

    I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Jevelin theme.

     

    Please make sure you are using following latest version of theme on your site.

    Also please don’t use the same logo color as header background color orelse it won’t display on similar background.

    Thank you for your response. Can I please ask what you have tested on your test site? Did you download my logo and install that?

    I will install the latest version of the theme as suggested and report back to you.

     

    I am concerned about your comments regarding the header colour. This header is for the home page of the photography demo theme which. as I understand it, is transparent.

     

    I am hopeful that this will resolve my latest issues as it would be really nice to get this site built.

    Dear Shufflehound team

    As requested I have uploaded the latest version of the theme and installed it as you suggested. nothing has changed. I also note that I was not aware of a theme upgrade until you mentioned it in your previous reply.

     

    Given the earlier issues we had with uploading the theme and then the demo content and now the header logo I would like to repeat my request for a refund of my purchase price so that I can go and get a theme that does not cause me so many consistent problems. This refund can be paid into Envato to enable me select a new theme.

    I need to get this site built and cannot continue until these constant issues are fixed.

    I look forward to your response.

    I couldn’t reproduce the issue on my test site so to resolve the issue immediately would you mind if i log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Click here to share private content. Only you and forum moderators will bee able see it.”?

    I have enclosed my login details below. Maybe this time we can get this theme working. I am hopeful that is we do…it is not just until the next thing goes wrong.

    I logged in to your site and just set your logo as Header Light Logo Version as shown in the attached screenshot and it started displaying fine.

     

    Now you have to set dark logo for remaining two logo options.

    Can you please explain to me what is a dark logo?

    I have no idea how I was supposed to know where to put the logo in the first place and also can you please tell me how I am supposed to make the logo appear on the sticky header.

    OH and by the way….If I disable the title bar…the title bar disappears amd if I enable the title bar it comes back. So why is it when I add a background image for the title bar the background does not change?

     

    For the final time before I go back to ENVATO with a refund request…would you kindly refund my purchase price and take back your theme so that I can move on to another.

     

    Obviously this one is beyond my capabilities.

    It is pretty simple as i have explained above if you have light background like white you should have dark logo on it like black logo orelse it won’t become visible because of same color.

     

    You can see on your site the header background on your site initially is dark so your white logo displays on it but when you scroll the header background becomes white therefore the white logo doesn’t display in it.

     

    This is happening because you have set same logo for all logo options as shown in the attached screenshot. Instead you should set different logo having different colors.

    This is how it should work.

    Could you please tell me which theme option you are using to set background image or are you referring logo image as background image?

    Yes you are right on photography theme https://jevelin.shufflehound.com/home/home-photography/

    But when you scroll the site then this dark logo is displayed https://cdn.jevelin.shufflehound.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Logo_dark_2.png

    You can see in the attached screenshot that it is displaying but your set following image is too large therefore it is only displaying part of it.

    Again I cannot quite follow your comments…I have reduced the size of the image to 50px but it still will not appear as I wish it to. I am unable to see any information on height.

     

    Obviously, as I have said before, this theme is far to hard for me to work with….after all I have only been working with wordpress for about 8 years.

    Sorry to hear you are finding this theme difficult to use but i recommend you to please read theme documentation that will help you to understand it better.

    I have already requested a refund on a number of occasions. I have gone to ENVATO and requested one and via ENVATO you are now requesting information on why I am disataisfied.

     

    All of this is simply a ploy to not pay the refund.

     

    STOP IT. Show some customer service and refund the purchase price.

    Your theme is not working as I would wish it to and I have already deleted it from the domain. IN 5 years of dealing with Envato I have NEVER requested a refund on a previous occasion.

     

    I am angry with your company for failing to recognise my dissatisfaction and take the simple step or refunding my purchase price and moving along despite now a total of four requests to do so.

     

    I do not wish to have any further discussion with you about this via the support desk from where you have already advised me you cannot refund and will continue this discussion with ENVATO.

     

    If your company had ANY consideration for its customers they would have no problem with refunding one purchase in exchange for a good review on how they handled the situation.
