After I updated to the latest “Jevelin Theme” and also WordPress to version 5.5, my image galleries stopped working all together.

    Here are the affected pages:
    https://www.dominik-fries.com/beauty_new_jevelin/

    https://www.dominik-fries.com/fashion_jevelin/

    https://www.dominik-fries.com/akt-erotik/

At https://www.dominik-fries.com/beauty_new_jevelin/  I was able to circumvent the issue by setting the Image Gallery Slider’s Image Ratio to “Large”, instead of “Square”.

Not sure how to fix the problem.

    Solution for this topic

    Hi @DominikFries77,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

It seems the wp-lightbox-2 plugin that you are using on your website is generating javascript errors causing the issue so please try temporarily deactivating the wp-lightbox-2 plugin.

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

Excellent, that fixed the issue. Then I would think the wp-lightbox-2 plugin is prolly not useful anymore 🙁 But I guess the site can handle without.

    Thanks for your help!

You are most welcome here 🙂

Having the same issue but I don’t have lightbox plugin, any other plugin it could be?

The site is naturalfertility.com and the animation next to this image https://naturalfertility.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/little-shoes-baby-photo-scaled-1.jpg?id=5421 and the image wouldn’t load when I updated to newest version of WP.  I reverted back to older version.  Any workarounds?

WP engine thinks its related to the WP Bakery Plugin.  Is that going to be updated to become compatible with the new version of wordpress?

    thanks

@Stacey To update the WpBakery page builder plugin, first update the theme to the below latest version.

Hi  I have updated the the WP bakery page builder plug in to its new update yesterday and today tried to upgrade to WP 5.5 but my images as per the email below are not working.  Is the new version of WP bakery not compatible with WP 5.5 and how do I work around that?

    Hi, Shufflehound Support,

I am in the same situation like the people above. All my image galleries and partners galleries are not working. I am using a Child Theme. When I checked the Updates menu there stays that my themes are all up to date. How to find were the problem is?

    Hi, again

Waiting for your answer, I decided to download the Beta version 4.8.0.1 and to replace via FileZilla the existing version. The galeries are OK. There are other problems, which I have to solve. However, this one is in the past.
