Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Issues with adding header Widget
Hello,
I am trying to add a widget to the header of my Jevelin theme.
I found a post in the forum that had solutions but was not able to get it working 100% (This is the link I found with directions: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-add-a-wordpress-widget-to-your-website-header/)
I was able to add the custom widget to the back end of my site just fine and also added the code to get the widget to show in the header.
The problem is that i couldn’t get the widget to show where I wanted
This is a page where you can see what I currently have:
http://rockguitar.staging.wpengine.com
I’m trying to get the “Members Login” button to show right next to the menu icon in the top right.
I know how to move the button around via CSS, what I need help with is how to get the button (using a simple short code to implement) to be in the header section.
I was only able to get it to show up above the header or below it, like it currently is.
I also don’t wan the black strip.
Please let me know if you need any more info to help trouble shoot
Thanks
Mike Deiure
p.s. I attached a screen shot to show current placement of the button
Hi Mike,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
To achieve this, you have to develop custom code in the child theme of Jevelin theme.
Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here. Please see https://themeforest.net/item/jevelin-multipurpose-premium-responsive-wordpress-theme/14728833/support
If you are not a developer then you can consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site. Shufflehound recommends the developer https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~011652ffec8865c6d5

Got it. Thank you
