Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Theme update – Text Scale on Mobile
I have a couple of questions.
The website is http://www.mtnperformancelab.com.
Thanks for the help
So I was able to successfully update the latest version of the Javelin Theme with no issues. Now my issue is that the text within my site is not responsive in mobile so when viewing it on a mobile device, the text is WAY too big. any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi @mtnlab,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.
Now my issue is that the text within my site is not responsive in mobile so when viewing it on a mobile device, the text is WAY too big. any help would be greatly appreciated
You are using Text block element to display that text and you can change its size from the Text block element settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
Best regards,

Yes, I am aware of how to change the text size (hence who it is so big in the first place) … what I want to know is… It looks good on the desktop but it does not scale in size when on mobile. I would like the text to scale smaller when viewing on a mobile device.
You can try achieving this using Yellow Pencil editor in the responsive mode as described in the below page.

So there is no option within the theme that allows you to just check a box or something and have it scale text when in mobile?
There is not theme option.
The theme scales font size of post and page content but the text size of text block content that you have created is manually applied therefore you have to manually change its size for mobile.
So outside of manually dropping in css media queries (or whatever solution you would normally use if coding from scratch), there is no way to change font size with browser size? Doesn’t that seem like an oversight? Please correct me if I’m wrong.
@MCDesignTime As said above the theme scales font size of post and page content but the text size of text block content that you have created is manually applied therefore you have to manually change its size for mobile.
You can change font size according to browser size by using Yellow Pencil editor in the responsive mode as described in the below page.
