Home › Forums › Gillion Theme › Time lag in executing web site commands?
I find that when ever I click on ANY, and I mean any, active link on my Gillion theme, that the site takes fully 5 – 6 seconds just to “wake up” before it even commences executing the command to activate the link I’ve just clicked on(?)
This 5-6 second delay is an unnecessary and added delay to the page loading process in Gillion, and makes my site look very unprofessional and amateur.
Sorry – I am still “Under Construction” so the web site is not available for public viewing yet. I cannot launch my site like it is now, with such lengthy delays like this. Users will go mad.
Any help on this matter will be so much appreciated 🙂
Thanks!
Hi @Goodmooty,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
The theme does not add any delay to process the click as displayed on the below demo website but it may depend on the content of your website and configuration.
