Can i use webp? I tried, but there is an issue (word) below the image:

iam not sure if i understand you right? I optimized the images via a plugin called “Imagify”.
Is Gillion not compatible with webp?
We have not tested the theme with that image format.
You can directly ask the Imagify plugin support to know why you are having this problem after using it.
Iam not sure, if you click on the image its jpg. Where does this word comes from?
I am not sure where it is coming from as the theme does not display it.
Please clear and temporarily disable the WP Rocket cache that you are using on your site.
Also, please try disabling the Imagify plugin that you are using.

Imagify is the problem. There is stated:
“The second option replaces the
<picture>tags. This is the preferred solution but some themes may break, so make sure to verify that everything seems fine.”Please can you take a look if the theme can be made compatible with webp?
If i change the image to jpeg it works, only on webp it doesnt.

PS: i found a setting for htaccess and now it seems to work:-)
