The front page has categories for each post overlayed over the thumbnail. However, when I click on customize, it shows the categories below the post thumbnails. I’d like to make changes to my site through customize but I am worried that any changes will change how the category are displayed on the thumbnails. How can I correct this?

See how the categories are displayed differently? I’d like the post categories to remain the same as they are on the live page.

I can’t access it as it is only accessible to logged in users.
Could you please share me the screenshot of how it is displaying for you?
I think it won’t change its display If you customize it in the customizer but for safety, you can just take backup of your site before making the changes so that If anything goes wrong then you can recover it.

This is without me changing anything other than he heading. As you can see, the font, colors and style of certain elements just look different for some reason even though i haven’t touched them. This is the way they look in the previous link. I’ll have to do a backup and see if the results actually go through like you say.

Also please clear & temporarily disable the Endurance Page Cache that you are using on your site and update the theme on your site to the below latest version as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/
