    > yes, you can deactivate Yellow Pencil plugin and it won’t have any effect on the functionality of the theme.

    Great thanks for confirming.

    > Yes you can do whatever you want to but you have to develop custom code to achieve this.

No that’s not what I’m asking.  I’m asking, if you were to add custom CSS to change the text in the header, what selector would you use?

    >> It seems you are misunderstanding here.
    >> You are trying to use gradient color feature but it is a functionality provided by paid wpbakery add-on

It is indeed this that is causing the confusion. You are saying that the feature is from a plugin. But I am saying the feature is part of core WPBakery.  The basis for that is that this WPBakery documentation page indicates that this is a CORE feature of WPBakery:

“Every element in Visual Composer has a custom background option that can be applied via Design Options.”

“CSS gradient background is available in container type elements Design Options, navigate to ‘Use gradient overlay’ toggle and enable it to select gradient colors. In addition, it is also possible to select a gradient style and angle.”

Where on that page does it indicate, “This is a feature provided only by an add-on plugin?”  If I have missed it, please point it out.  This is the hurdle that you and I need to get over.

OK thanks. All I wanted was for you to confirm there was no Theme Option that I was missing. It sounds like there are no theme options to do what I want, so I will implement custom CSS on my own.

As an aside, if I don’t use the Yellow Pencil plugin, is it safe to deactivate it and remove it? Or will the theme fail to function in certain places if I do so?

Actually, if I want to target just the header text, what would be the best selector to use? Is it possible to add my own custom class to this element, to make it easy to select with CSS?

    >> We are selling Jevelin theme and not WPBakery or any other plugin. It is provided bundled with the theme and it is complimentary so we don’t need to provide any explanation about plugin functionality

You have promised customers that the theme contains the WPBakery plugin. We purchased the Jevelin theme based on the promise that we would have access to WPBakery and all of its features. Now, after purchase, you are saying that we only have access to a limited version of WPBakery. I personally feel that is a bit misleading and unfair. You really need to make that clear to customers before they purchase. But I guess you’re saying there’s nothing I can do about it at this time.

Also, is there a way in Theme Options to allow me to change the font family of *only* the text in the header. If I change the font family in Theme Options–>Styling–>Headings–>Headings, it does indeed change the font family of the header text. But it also changes the font family in my testimonials section, which is undesirable (see attached screenshot). Does Theme Options give me a method of changing the font family of the header text only? Or does it require a custom CSS solution?

    Thanks.

OK thanks very much for that. I thought there may be a one-column solution to this, but this two column solution should be sufficient.

    We can consider this resolved.

OK I can get it to you. But to be clear, what exactly are you going to do? If all you will do is add custom CSS to increase the font size, I can (and prefer) to do that myself. But if you need to investigate my page a bit more before suggesting a solution, then I can get you a login. Let me know on that.

I read that page. I don’t see any reference that the the WPBakery bundled with my theme may have limited functionality. If I have overlooked it, please point it out.

OK thank you for confirming that. I will implement a solution myself. We can consider this resolved.

    >> If you want to change Headings font size then you can do so from Theme Options–>Styling–>headings

I understand how to change the font size for all header elements, e.g. <h1>, <h2>, <h3>, etc. But this particular text is not inside any of those elements–it is simply inside a <div> element (see attached screenshot). Do you know how to change that text size?

    >> If you want to change Logo Title Name font size then there could you please share me your site URL where it’s displaying so that I can help you to achieve it?

OK let me know if you still need this and I’ll get you a login.

    >> we don’t commit to provide all of its functionality.

This is the first I am hearing about this. Can you please show me where this is stipulated? I was under the impression I would be receiving everything Visual Composer/WPBakery has to offer. Your ThemeForest page says as much–it makes no reference of disabling certain features.

    Can you see it now?

As I understand, it is you that has access to WPBakery support, not me. Maybe I am misunderstanding though.

    >> Please also share me the screenshot from admin area to display how you have created that section?

OK here are the column settings (see attached screenshot). Do you need any other screenshots?

    >> Could you please share me your site log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able see it)”?

I’m working on this. Give me a day or two.

Well, can I? Does my theme license grant me access to WPBakery support? If not, then how can I contact them?

OK I can do so. But before that, are you able to tell me if I can do so via theme options, or if it requires custom css? If the latter, I can do that on my own. But I just neeex confirmation that there is no method in theme options to do so.

Sorry, I think you are misunderstanding. I have not taken any steps to modify the font size. Can you please tell me how to do so?

OK thanks for that. Since the theme is compatible with the Envato Market plugin, that means that I do *not* need to separately follow the instructions here: https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/. Is that correct? The Envato Market plugin should allow for automatic updates.

Also, I will have the theme installed on both my live site, and my private staging site (located on a sub-directory). Will there be any issues with that?

    Thanks.

OK thanks for confirming. I’ll look for another solution on my own. We can consider this resolved.
