Thanks for reply. It got fixed by following the url correctly.
ie. I have followed in the followin url to remove index.php (http://dejanjanosevic.info/remove-index-php-permalink-in-wordpress) .
After when i try to access blog content it is throwing the URL NOT FOUND error
I found the issue.
Current permalink settings: /index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
New Settings (which is causing the issue)
/%postname%/
If i update with new settings the imported demo content is not working (whereas normal wordpress site is working) none of the post are getting visible. So how to overcome this issue.
One more additional information : If i add a new post it is showing and click publish it is showing as (The requested URL was not found on this server.)

I am completely confused on what plugin to activate to get the Demo import site work. Please give me clear instructions on how to use the plugin it is unclear with no documentation on how to activate a demo content
i) I have installed latest version of PHP.
ii) I have enabled all the plugins.
Even though i am getting the same error. (Error: Internal Server Error (500)). I have attached the screen shot.
Let me know what i need to check to import the demo content.
