I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Jevelin theme as displayed in the attached screenshot.
Please make sure to use latest version of Jevelin theme by downloading it from http://support.shufflehound.com/download/jevelin-beta/
If the issue still persists for you after updating the theme then could you please send me your site login details on [email protected] and notify me on this topic so that i can troubleshoot it?

Awesome great to see you got that fixed by developing custom javascript code but keep an eye on it as it may break if any javascript error occurs on your site.

It is working fine on my test site so you need to reproduce the issue on your site so that i can troubleshoot it.

I did not understand your point about the error.log. Could you explain me what to do to “check error.log” ?
It means you have to check the error log file on your server as described on the following page that contains useful information about the errors occurred on your site.

This is a simple PHP warningand most of the time it doesn’t affect functionality of site so it is nothing to worry about!
Do you have WP_DEBUG set to true in your wp-config.php file?
If you do then please set it to false.
This will hide the warning messages and you will be able to use your site normally.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
I can see you are using Blog Posts element on your site do any change you made in the theme blog settings doesn’t affect it as this is not blog page but static page so you have to make the changed from Blog Posts element settings.
You are controlling the text in the blog posts using Visual Page Builder therefore the post excerpt doesn’t display automatically on your shared page and you have to add the excerpt manually in the excerpt field of posts as shown in the attached screenshot.
