Never mind, I figured out another work around that fixes the both the desktop & mobile problem. Cheers.

Thanks for reaching out. I’m using both Unysis and Beaver Builder (a WP plug-in) to build my website by dragging and dropping items.
What I did yesterday was go into Beaver Builder to modify the container box that the slider is in and altered the top margin so it’s set to -20. This moves the slider over the white space and on a desktop you can no longer see the white space because of this trick. However, on the mobile the trick doesn’t work and the white space is always there. Additionally, on both the desktop and mobile there’s white space at the bottom and scrolling which I want to eliminate. I just want the one full screen picture with the black background only and then I’ll create icons. I’ve attached a copy of the mobile white. Thanks again for your support.
Thank you so much for your response. This is helpful as I can the changes. I do have two follow up questions.
In the code you gave me, the buttons were turned into rectangles, can you point me to any resources that can change the buttons into other shapes (e.g., circles, squares and etc.). If there is a setting in the included theme I can use to control this feature, please let me know.
The other question I have is included in the attachment. I’m trying to get my homepage to match that of https://www.stmarytx.edu. If there’s custom codes I need to be aware of, please let me know. Thank you so much and your continued customer support. I really enjoy working with you guys.

Awesome, it worked! Last header question, I promise. I want the collegefirstgen.com navigation menu to look exactly like :https://www.stmarytx.edu which has the school logo in the middle of the navigation header. Is there custom css code for the header that allows me to insert a logo image and center it like St Mary’s website? Thanks again!
Will do in 2 minutes. Also, by chance, would you know of any css code to expand the border height for the navigation menu? I want the collegefirstgen.com navigation menu to look exactly like :https://www.stmarytx.edu which has a thicker navy blue border for it’s navigation menu. I went to the Themeforest website to download the most up to date version. I just installed it. I’m able to change the Font Family, but can’t control the font weight. Is that not customizable? Thanks for your support as I try to figure this out.
