    Forgot to mention…

    As i scroll through the main page, the buttons related to different anchors don’t highlight as i scroll.

    Just noticed one small problem… When i go to one of the separate pages such as FAQ and i click on the button pertaining to an anchor link, such as “Free Trial”, button doesn’t get highlighted once it opens that section…

    I have already sent you my login details in the other post:

    https://support.shufflehound.com/forums/topic/revolution-slider-button-problem/#post-3464

    Please see if something can be done about this while you’re there. Much thanks.

    I tried as you suggested and still no luck, very weird. There are 3 slides there on the welcome screen, each with the same button name and the same anchor link.

    • When i click the button on the first slide – it takes me to a page just below the revolution slider.
    • When i click the buttons on the second and third slide – it just refreshes the same page.

    Sending you login details…

    Hi guys,

    It worked for the separate pages menus but the main page buttons pertaining to page anchors didn’t highlight. So i pasted again the last piece of the previous code you sent:

    #page-container .sh-header #header-navigation .sh-nav > li.menu-item > a.active {
    color: #f3bc47!important;
    }

    That helped with highlighting on the main page, but it was still highlighting the anchored location along with the Home button. I fixed that by removing the standard Home button and inserting a new anchor above the revolution slider and making that the Home page button instead.

    Now all appears to be working! Thanks you so much guys for your relentless patience and perseverance in resolving this.

    P.S.

    If it might be easier for you to figure this out by having access to my site, i’m more than happy to give you my wordpress login details through a private message. Just let me know if this would be better and how do i go about delivering this to you outside the public forum.

    Thank you very much guys, that did get us pretty far in resolving this. Unfortunately problems still persist.

    1. When i click on one of the buttons leading to a page anchor, Home button remains highlighted as shown in the attached Screenshot1.
    2. When i go to one of the separate pages the highlight color is white instead of orange, making it invisible in front of a white background.

    Here’s all the code we added since the beginning of trying to fix this. Please let me know if, perhaps, something here needs to be adjusted:

    #page-container .sh-header.sh-sticky-header-active .sh-nav > .menu-item-type-custom.current_page_item > a {
    color: rgba(61,61,61,0.69) !important;
    }
    #page-container .sh-header-mobile a,
    #page-container .sh-header:not(.sh-sticky-header-active) .sh-nav > li.current_page_item > a,
    #page-container .sh-header:not(.sh-sticky-header-active) .sh-nav > li:not(.current_page_item):hover > a {
    color: rgba(255,255,255,0.85)!important;
    }
    #page-container .sh-header-mobile a:hover,
    #page-container .sh-header:not(.sh-sticky-header-active) .sh-nav > li.menu-item:hover:not(.sh-nav-social) > a,
    #page-container .sh-header:not(.sh-sticky-header-active) .sh-nav > li.menu-item:hover:not(.sh-nav-social) > a > i,
    #page-container .sh-header:not(.sh-sticky-header-active) .sh-nav > li.sh-nav-social > a:hover > i,
    #page-container .sh-header-mobile-navigation li > a:hover > i,
    #page-container .sh-header-left-side li.menu-item > a:hover {
    color: #fff!important;;
    }

    Thanks a million,

    Surge

    I tried removing this section and now the click on this button takes me to the page that was just bellow the one that i removed, which is the first page bellow the welcome screen with revolution slider.

    Posted in 3 separate links. Thanks guys.

    One more thing… When i click the button inside revolution slider on the welcome page, it first takes me to page anchor where it should go, and than immediately goes to the first page section bellow the revolution slider. No matter which anchor i insert into button settings, it bounces of the intended destination and it goes to the same place. Just click “SIGN UP” button and you’ll se what i mean. The button code looks like this:

    a href=”#anchor-id” class=”sh-revslider-button1″>
    <span>SIGN UP</span>

    Thank you very much for this, you guys are awesome. If you go to surgeea.com and you look at the welcome page, you will see that the 3 buttons on the right (links to other pages) are grey and they react when you hover the mouse by becoming white. The 5 buttons to the left (pertaining to home page) are white and there is no color change when mouse is over them. Could we make all buttons look and act like those on the right, so that the main menu looks uniform?

    Another problem is that when you click on one of the “section jump” buttons they don’t get highlighted. Is there any way to fix this or perhaps try a different way of making these links to page sections that might be less problematic?

    Unfortunately i was messing with the menu settings as you were looking at the site. What you saw did look good, but that was the result of removing forward slash for the section url. I changed all section links from those that look like “/#heading-23464f854bf99e2e0d9bad17987f0cc3” into “#heading-23464f854bf99e2e0d9bad17987f0cc3.

    Problem is that if i go to a page other than home page, links don’t work anymore. They are only working as long as i am on the same page as they are.

    I’ve put it back the way it was. This way it works but menu button colors are perpetually highlighted.

    I won’t be messing with my site until i hear from you.

    Thank you very much for the answer. Just one more thing is driving me crazy and i’ve been trying to solve it for hours…

    I used section id tags from page source to create page jumps to different parts of my page. Then main menu has buttons with these links. Problem is that i got about 5 buttons in the main menu which are always highlighted because id tags are on the same page. You can see it at surgeea.com

    This is an example of what i inserted under URL file for a menu button: /#heading-c8791b333db62e351f36abd8ba2090a0

    Is there, perhaps, a better way of fixing this?

    Once i gave up trying to use SMTP option and switched to using [email protected] – it worked. I guess this also works so i won’t make your life difficult with this anymore.

    The only thing that still bothers me is that when message is sent, the “message sent” text is not cantered according to the contact form, it is left aligned. If we can fix this – it would be great.

    Otherwise, i love your work. Beautiful looking, fast, easy to use even by a noob like me 🙂 Love it.

    Kind regards,

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the fast response. Deactivating other plugins worked, now onto the elimination process to see which one was causing trouble.

    As for the contact form, still not working. Can’t send test email. I’m trying to use my icloud email to send messages. Could this be the problem?

    Thanks a lot,
