One of the most common installation related issues is “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.”. Usually the reason for this issue is that you have uploaded the incorrect file as ThemeForest offers two types of files: “All files & documentation” and “Installable WordPress file only”. Most likely you have downloaded the first option, which contains documentation, license and other files.
To fix it follow these steps bellow:
- Extract downloaded ZIP file
- Find theme_name.zip file inside it
- Upload it
