Unyson is causing the following error and the site is running extremely slow:
“A PHP session was created by a session_start()
function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close()
before making any HTTP requests.”
Is there an easy fix for this? And is the compatibility of the theme with this framework a risk? It seems the plugin is only updated every 6-12 months. What is the alternative framework that you would recommend?
The slow page speeds will no doubt be caused by the size of the files and lack of memcache, but there also seems to be a huge amount of Javascript being run on the home page. Maybe too much Rev Slider? URL below.
Hi there,
Sure, if you don’t use the Unyson page builder you can migrate to the Redux framework plugin. Migration is available under Jevelin (admin sidebar) > Framework Upgrade. It will run faster and will have better support.
Let us know if that helps.
