Home › Forums › Gillion Theme › Changes in Parent/Child Theme Not Reflecting on Frontend
Hi Team,
We are currently using the latest version of the Gillion theme. However, we’re facing an issue where any changes made—whether in the parent theme or the child theme—are not being reflected on the frontend of the site.
We’ve tried clearing the cache and verified file permissions, but the issue still persists.
Could you please look into this URL and let us know if there’s any specific configuration or step we might be missing?
Hello,
Could you please confirm whether your changes appear in the WordPress admin but not on the live site, or if they aren’t showing for both logged in and guest users?
Also, check if you have any performance optimization plugins active (caching/minification) and whether your host uses server level caching that needs to be cleared.
Thanks, and I look forward to your update.
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
Thank you for the follow-up.
The changes we are making via the WordPress admin dashboard (like theme settings) are reflecting correctly. However, any changes we make in the child/parent theme code files are not appearing on the front frontend.
Also, there are no active caching or performance optimization plugins.
Could you please help us investigate why code-level changes in the child/parent theme are not taking effect?
Also, theme-based icons are not loadingng on the front-end dashboard. [PFA]
Hello,
Thanks for the details!
Could you please share your login details in the private info field? That way, we can inspect the issues directly – it is difficult to say what is causing them without taking a closer look.
Best regards,
