Hi,
We’re using categories to differentiate between blog posts (which we want to be listed everywhere) and landing pages (which we don’t want to be listed everywhere). I believe this is the recommended approach given that a standard WordPress installation only supports a single Blog Posts configuration.
The Blog Posts page builder element lets us specify a category so we can filter posts accordingly. This is perfect.
But the Shufflehound Recent Posts widget, which would be used in the Footer Widgets (site footer) and Blog Widgets (right side bar) don’t have a category filter, and so I have no way to filter out the landing pages in those locations.
Can you add a filter for that or provide insight on how to apply the filter?
I’m using Jevelin 5.11.

Thank you for your input! We’ll consider adding a category filter for the Recent Posts widget in future theme updates.
For now, the widget functionality is located in the file: inc/widgets/recent-posts/views/widget.php. You would need to make custom adjustments to the code to implement the filter, but please note that we don’t currently offer customization support for this.
If you choose to make changes, we strongly recommend using a child theme to prevent your customizations from being overwritten during theme updates.
