This is a follow up from THIS thread as it seems that my problem has a different cause.
We have a few links to sections on our home page (jillmurphys.nl) that work splendidly on the desktop version. On mobile (Phone and tablet alike) the mobile navigation menu stays on the screen after one of the section links (which are ‘reseveren’ and both submenu’s to ‘Contact’) is tapped.
Would be great if we could do something about that!

That didn’t work quite right. Menu still remains and now if you manualy close it the menu icon stays an ‘X’ even though the menu is gone.
Also no wthe menu closes if you click a empty menu item (# link) that has sub items.
I’ll leave the plugin active for a little bit so you can see for yourself.

I logged in to your site but can’t access http://jillmurphys.nl/wp-admin/plugin-editor.php so i will troubleshoot it on my test site and will let you know ASAP.

Please try using the attached modified custom plugin and delete the existing plugin used on your site.
I have also notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
Seems to work perfectly with that plugin installed!
Do I need to remove the plugin once the theme gets updated and fixed?

Yes you can remove the plugin when the issue will be fixed in the theme.
The issue is fixed in the below latest version of theme so please update your theme.
You can update it by either deleting existing theme and then install latest theme version of it or use the following plugin to update the theme.

After activating the above plugin just install the downloaded theme on your site.
You won’t lose your site content after updating the theme but for safer side you can take backup of your site before updating the theme.

I’ve updated the theme (through the backend updates section, update was there already) and I’m sorry to say I still need the Colorlib plugin activated to make the mobile menu disappear after a click..
I logged in to your site and confirmed it only works when the menu contains short URL like #reserveren but not when full URL is used like http://jillmurphys.nl/#reserveren
I have notified the theme developer about it so that it will be fixed in the future version of theme.
