Hello Shufflehound Team,
This is a new problem stemming from the changes you made in the autoptimize plugin on my site. When I deactivate the autoptimize plugin, the problem goes away.
Problem:
When I open the homepage, at the bottom, where this “badges” element is, the section has extra padding on the top and bottom. But when I try to inspect it, it resizes back to normal, so I can’t diagnose it in.
It also corrects itself if you just try to resize the screen.
But if you refresh the page, or open it again, the extra padding is there again.
This problem is occurring for me on all browsers, public, and private.
I have attached screenshots so you can see the problem. On page load, there is the extra top and bottom padding on the section. After you resize the screen, or try to inspect, the extra padding disappears.
In the private field, I have linked you to the homepage where the problem is occurring. I have also included info to login to my site.
Can you please log back into my site and fix this problem?
Thank you!
Derek
Hello,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience!
Performance optimizations can sometimes lead to unexpected layout issues like this. We’ve gone ahead and disabled lazy loading for images, as it has been known to cause similar issues, including one previously affecting the footer logo.
Can you please check it now and let us know if everything looks good on your end? It seems to be working fine for us! 😊
Best regards,
Shufflehound Team
