I am trying to update the quote and author text in a quote format post and cannot locate the fields to make those changes in the wordpress editor.

Have you tried changing it under Post Settings > Post tab at the bottom of the page?

Shufflehound TeamThere are no fields in Post Settings > Post that changes the quote and author text. Only fields to insert copyright text, source and via. When I change all fields the post still contains the demo quote. (See attached.)
Can you please let us know which version of WordPress you are using and if it was working correctly before?
I just downloaded this theme and am setting up my website, so this is the first time using this type of post, so far it has never worked.
I am using WordPress 6.6
That was a bug related to the WordPress 6.6 version, and we have created a beta update that should fix it:
Please test it and let us know if it resolves the issue. 🙂
Also, remember to clear your browser cache after the update.
Thank you! I am concerned about losing the customizations I’ve made if I manually update to the beta theme. Will that be the case?

If you haven’t modified theme files, then you shouldn’t lose any customizations.
