When posting a square image it looks correct when viewed on the grid but after clicking on it, it is strechted in the blogpost view. (feature image)

Site is not launched yet. Don’t know how to share without giving out admin password.
-It is easily replicated by creating a blog post and use a 1×1 image as feature image.
-Check the grid view, it will look fine there. But then click on it and view in post view (set to sidebar right) and the 1×1 image is now streched out to something more like 4×3.
Oh, now we understood your issue.
In single blog page we are using cropped image versions, so content bellow image is available. You can see full image by clicking on it.
