I have added the demo content on the Gillion theme and have created a MailChimp account. However, when I type my email into the subscriber form/box on my website, the email does not get populated into my MailChimp account. Can you please inform me as to how subscribers can be added to the list through the form?

It seems you are using below mailchimp plugin on your site so please make sure you have configured the plugin settings correctly.
