Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Unable to load "One Click Theme Install" themes
The site is arculus.app .
I’m attempting to load the “Coming Soon” theme. After Importing the data, I attempt to load the page and it shows a 404 error. I have attempted other themes as well after importing data, and they still do not mimic the previewed version.
Hi @arculus,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Please make sure that those pages are created in the admin area of your site.
Please try resaving your site permalink settings in your site admin area on the below path.
Admin Area -> Settings -> Permalinks
Also you can try resetting your site htaccess file as described in the following pages.

What pages? This response provided absolutely no help.
Please provide EXACT instructions on how to enable the specific theme. I made no changes, imported the data, and am receiving a 404. I paid for this theme, and I am extremely frustrated that there are no instructions on how to actually enable the pre-loaded theme.
You also didn’t specify the SPECIFIC permalink settings. What should they be?
Please provide FULL instructions on how to enable this theme. If I’m able to utilize this theme that I paid $60 for, I’m going to request a refund and purchase a different theme that actually works out of the box.
From your question, it seems you have already enabled the theme on your site and now trying to import the “Coming Soon” demo content template on your site.
If you have not installed and activated the theme then do so as described in the below page.
https://support.shufflehound.com/installing-theme/
https://support.shufflehound.com/activating-included-plugins/
Then you can import the demo content templates as described in the below page.
https://support.shufflehound.com/installing-demo/
Now after importing the demo content the imported pages display 404 error and this is your question in this topic which I have answered in the above reply.
As asked above have you made sure that those pages are created in the admin area of your site?
Have you tried resaving your site permalink settings in your site admin area on the below path?
Admin Area -> Settings -> Permalinks
We don’t need any specific permalink settings and you have to just resave the permalink settings on clicking on the “Save Changes” button.
If it didn’t work then have you tried resetting your site htaccess file as described in the following pages?
https://bordercrossingmedia.com/2009/01/how-to-restore-your-wordpress-htaccess-file/
https://www.webhostinghero.com/restore-damaged-htaccess-file-wordpress/
The theme demo content works fine out of the box after importing the demo content but in your case it didn’t work therefore we are troubleshooting the issue as described above.
WHAT PAGES NEED TO BE CREATED???? BE CLEAR
The demo content itself contains some pages and posts which gets created on your site after importing the demo content.
Are any pages or posts created in the admin area of your site?
If you don’t know anything about this then would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporary share me your site admin log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able see it)”?
Yes – I’ve provided my login. Please assist.
Thank you for sharing your site credentials but it seems you have missed sharing your site URL so could you please share it?
I have included URL in private field
Thank you for sharing the site URL but the shared credentials don’t work for me and I get an error message “Invalid username”.
Please make sure that the shared credentials are correct and working fine.
Please try these credentials:
Please provide update
Now I could log into your site using your shared updated credentials but I can’t access any of your site settings as the shared user account is not an admin.
Could you please make the shared user as an administrator on your site so that I can help you?
We have updated the credentials, please see the private field. Please assist in our DEV environment instead (URL below):

Solution for this topic
We have successfully enabled the theme, but we need to know how to edit the theme. In the “Customize” section, there is no way to change the front page “JEVELING LANDING PAGE EVENT.”
You can edit your home page as shown in the first attached screenshot.
How do we change the countdown timer?
Edit the home page as described above and then edit & configure the counter content element as shown in the second & third attached screenshots.
We have attempted to change the background image in the “Customize” section, but it will not work. We have tried multiple images. Please assist with fixing this so that we can add our own background image.
I am not sure which background image that you are referring to so could you please share the screenshot of it?
How do we change event timeline?
Edit the home page as described above and then edit & configure the Timeline content element as shown in the fourth attached screenshots.
Thank you – that worked. We have two more issues:
To help us keep support thread separates could you please create a new thread for each of your other questions instead of asking them in your single thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.
If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.
We would be more than happy to help you with your new thread.
