We have a website using Gillion. We went in recently to update from PHP 7.4 to 8.3, but once that is updated in cpanel, the entire website throws a 403 error.

We connected our hosting company, but they were unable to determine what was causing the issue. They suggested we turn off all plugins and see if the error persists – and it does. Are there any known issues with Gillion/child themes related to PHP updates or ways that we might be able to work through this and ensure that we are using a non-depreciated PHP version?

    Hi there,

Currently, we are not aware of any specific issues.

Could you please check the error log and let us know if it captures anything when visiting the site upgraded to PHP 8.3?

    Best regards,

    Shufflehound Team
