Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › We would like a factory-reset to default jevelin autospot theme
Greetings! My boss bought this theme which we searched for and found it together…. then we decided to customize it and learn its capabilities. Then we would like to get the theme to it’s original state when it looked exactly like the theme preview (jevelin autospot). But when reinstalling, our changes were still being shown. Can you instruct me on how to make it factory reset as the original jevelin autospot theme?
Here is the full problem list:
Here’s what’s going on:
My boss has bought a premium theme from Shufflehound (jevelin autospot) ( https://jevelin.shufflehound.com/autospot/) for his automotive detailing products company, and I am in charge of making the proper changes so the website runs and looks perfectly.
Problem #1: We started playing around with WP Bakery Editor and YellowPencil and then we decided to revert back the theme to it’s original factory installation, but it didn’t work. We tried uninstalling the theme, reinstalling it, but all the changes were still showing up even though we wanted a fresh/ factory-reset copy just like the original theme demo: https://jevelin.shufflehound.com/autospot/ so the question is: How the hell can we make it restore to it’s default? Would it be on the hosting? (siteground)?
Problem #2: Ok, then once we saw that reverting was not possible (at the time), I started working on modifying the theme, and making our custom website layout. But when adding new pages, the header banner (that shows up in home page) is non-existent in the other pages… I can’t figure out how to make the header banner to appear in the other screens.
Problem #3: Ignoring the fact that the header banner does not show up in other pages, only in Home.. I (then satisfied) with the current state of the home page, decided to work on the mobile responsiveness, and I assumed the size (in yellowpencil editor) to be 400px (which is my samsung A23 screen type) and the changes made in home page appeared to change in real-time onto my cellphone, which was amazing. But again, all the other pages, despite being updated on computer, did not show up on cellphone. So the problem is: On mobile phone, the changes are not updating (when in other pages apart from the home page). I tried clearing cache via the plugins in wordpress but nothing works.
Problem #4 – The pictures, animations, buttons don’t show up in mobile (except on home page which works beautifully). but other pages it doesn’t show up. The header logo size changes don’t take effect on mobile phone (despite being perfectly done in computer using mobile viewing mode on yellowpage editor).
Problem #5 – When zooming out of the home page, every item, element, picture, text, gets smaller… and vice versa… But in other pages, when zooming out, some of the pictures remain LARGE while the other content of the website shrinks…
I mean…. what is going on? I need guidance please.
Hi there,
Could you please provide links to pages other than the homepage? We’d like to see what’s going on with those pages.
Regarding to the first issue, we suggest utilizing plugins such as WP Reset to completely reset the website’s state, especially if no new information has been added.
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
No matter what I do things keep disappearing. I tried changing the SLIDER on the main page and everything is gone… I have a blank page now. I need a full-restoration A S A P with the factory preset of the website. Can you instruct me on how to get a factory reset? I tried using WP-RESET plugin but it did not work. I want my page to look exactly as the autospot jevelin demo page looks like.
Ok.. I somehow managed to get the website up and running again in a fresh copy. But after a few changes, the MOBILE version is NON-EXISTENT… it doesn’t show up on cellphone let alone a responsive layout. My boss counted on me to work on this website and we’re both upset that the theme is a nightmare to work with. I believe that at least what you could do to turn things around is to give me a troubleshooting live one-on-one session to help me, otherwise we will need to spend MORE MONEY to hire a professional to work on troubleshooting your website theme…
In this case we can offer to login to your website and to debug this issue further for you. If that is okay, you can share the login details in the private information field below.
