I am trying to add a second line for address in the footer contacts widget. I modified:

    /inc/widgets/contacts/class-widget-contacts.php

    /inc/widgets/contacts/views/widget.php

Everything looks fine in wp dashboard, but frontend does not display in correct order. Can you point me to where those are ordered?

    Solution for this topic

    Hi @spfskyline,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

To display them in proper sequence just delete and remove that widget from sidebar and add it again to reconfigure it.

    Best regards,

Thanks! That reconfigured it to the correct order. I moved these files to child theme and order is fine, but icons are wrong. I tried removing and recreating again, but still using clock icon. Like it is not recognizing the key == ‘address2’. Can’t see why it is putting clock instead of map.

Could you please share me your whole changed code so that I can troubleshoot it?

Also you are using W3 Total Cache on your shared site so please try clearing the cache.

I disabled W3 for now, but I did clear the cache before too.

It is working fine on my test site using same shared code as shown in the attached screenshot.

After using updated code have you deleted existing widget and used new one?

Would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Click here to share private content. Only you and forum moderators will be able to see it.”?

Yes, have removed and recreated multiple times. Add you as a user, credentials are in private info field.

    Thanks!

Thank you for sharing the site credentials.

I logged into your site but didn’t find any issue.

Could you please grant shared user access to theme editor so that I can troubleshoot in child theme code?

    Editor is now enabled.

    Solution for this topic

I changed the contact widget code in your child theme to make it work.

    Could you please confirm?
