Hey, so I just learned about the importance of using child themes…waaaaay too late. I’ve done a lot of updating to my website. So my question is, if I install the Jevelin Child Theme now and update my Jevelin Parent…how much of my site would I lose? Can you guys help me minimize damages? Or will I basically have to rebuild my site?

First of all before making any changes please take full backup of your site from Tools -> Backup
If you have not made any changes in the theme files then you can just use the child theme and configure some settings like menu, widgets etc. that may get lost.
If you have made any changes in the theme files then you have to move those changes in the child theme files before using child theme.
