Hi there!
Im installing the Javelin theme on one of my websites, when I install all the required plugins, Im told to update WPBakery… even though I downloaded the latest version of the theme.
I try to click update but nothing happens, and now It wont let me import demos.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
You are using the plugin bundled with the theme therefore you are not direct customer of that plugin and cannot update that plugin until you purchase it.
Please find more information about it on the following page.
We update the plugin with every new theme version. In this case you can just delete old plugin version and reinstall latest plugin version bundled with theme from Appearance -> Install Plugins
Also, recently WP Bakery plugin caused some issue as described in the below topic.

Shufflehound teamSo I tried the deleting the plugin and re installing it. It doesn’t work, It wont let me install a demo website.
You can install WPBakery plugin from Appearance -> Install Plugins
And you can install the demo content as described in the below page.
Yeah I tried that but its not working.

No, I just deleted older version and installed new one.
