It works! Thank you so much! 🙂
Hi!
Thanks for your reply.
But we don’t want to hide the cart, but the dropdown that appears when you hover over it (in case of desktop only).
here’s the screenshot for your reference: https://imgur.com/a/y93zh06
Looking forward to your reply
Thank you!
Thanks a ton!
It’s solved.
We see “cart” now everywhere instead of the word “Basket”.
This said and done, could you please help us hide the mini cart from our website?
we don’t really need that.
Thank you!
Yes, it is. Sorry for the late reply.
sorry, I don’t understand the question.
Hi team,
Thank you for the response!
Here’s the requested screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/LYBWYhM
Also, we are using a plugin for displaying products in a slider. The “add to cart” buttons text turn to “Add to basket” when we click on them. And this problem is not specific to one plugin but happens with all of them.
This said, we also imported one of the jevelin demos if that helps you debug this issue further.
Thanks a ton!
Hi team,
Thanks a ton!
It’s working perfectly.
could you please help us with one more thing, i.e all our cart buttons and says “Basket” instead of the word “cart”. could you please let us know where in the theme settings or code we can change it to “cart” in one go?
It’d be really appreciated.
Thank you!
The picture that is appearing on the shop page is because of the following code:
The code above is still there in the functions.php file, but nothing is showing.
Hi,
Thanks a ton for your reply.
We tried the second method. Here’s the screenshot of the code we added in our functions.php file for your reference. But it did not work.

Could you please check and let us know if we are doing something wrong or missing anything?
This said, thanks for sharing the file name too, but how can we display different images for different categories from there?
Looking forward to hearing from you
Thanks & Regards
Hi,
Thanks a ton for your reply. No, it’s not yet resolved.
We have reverted the CSS code we wrote for this because it was creating complications for other elements on the page.
But yes, that was the desired look. could you please help us with this at the earliest? It will be highly appreciated.
I also wanted to know which theme file should we edit in order to make changes to the category pages design.
Looking forward to your reply
Thank you!
Hi Shufflehound Team,
I am sorry for a late reply.
But here is the update, I had tried using the updated jevelin theme (jevelin 4.1.3) on my website and I could still see the problem.
So I am sharing the credentials of my website below, please have a look at it.
Thanks
Hi,
As per your suggestion, I updated my jevelin theme to the latest version i.e 4.1.2.
Also, I have checked for plugin conflicts and none of them has any effect on the weird behaviour of side menu. The problem stayed the same even after deactivating all the plugins.
Could you please check it and help us with the same?
Thanks
Hi Shufflehound team,
Wish you a very happy new year!
Could you please help me with one more thing?
As I wish to customise the header of my site, what would be the best customisation process to follow?
I have activated the modified child theme that you passed me over and it resolves my issue. But, I was unable to find any header files in the child theme so I cannot do any customisations.
Now, do I have to customise the header files that reside in the parent theme to achieve what I want, or have to wait for you people to provide me with the modified parent Jevelin theme, and then go forward with the customisations?
Thanks in Advance
Ohkey no problem.
And yeah, with child theme all the pages now display theme’s default header only.
Thanks a lot for all the help!
Thanks for your response.
But I would like to know, that how much time will it take to get my problem fixed?
Apologies for being so curious but can’t help it as I have a deadline to follow.
Hi,
I updated my theme as you suggested. But the issue with the header doesn’t seem to be resolved. The profile page (https://bestpsychiatristsaharanpur.in/members/wagmwimv/profile/) and all the other dynamic pages (friends, messages, notifications, friends etc) are still not displaying the theme’s default header. I have also attached the screenshots for the same.
Could you please check again.
Thanks
Thanks…I’ll surely do that.
But will it be resolving my issue with the header? Will all my website pages (dynamic or not) then be displaying the theme’s default header?
I have done that. Could you please check.
Thanks for the help.
Yeah…sure
For reference 1, the URL is:Â https://bestpsychiatristsaharanpur.in
where…COLLAB-COLLECTIONS is the menu that I have created and registered manually. And the side menu (hamburger icon menu – theme’s default menu) has the following menu items –
For reference 2, the URL is:
https://bestpsychiatristsaharanpur.in/members/wagmwimv/profile/
This link is generated dynamically as I am using BuddyPress on my site. All those pages display differently styled header with my side menu on it.
I hope all this makes sense this time.
Thanks
