Sorry, I’ve tested on three different computers in different locations – all of which I’ve never logged on to the site before and it’s still the same.
Chrome and explorer.
There is still a white border above and below the slider.
What browser is the screenshot from that you have taken?
The same happens with the WP Bakery page.
All I’ve done on the screenshot below is import the bakery data and change the height of the revolution slider, and again there’s big white gaps above and below that previously would have been filled by a bigger slider.
It happens with the Home – Creative (WPbakery) page I have in my pages too.
If I adjust the height of the slider (screenshot below) – the “space” on the website for the slider stays the same but the slider sits in the middle.
Am I doing something wrong to adjust the size of the slider?
I’ve adjusted the height to 650 px here.
Hi,
I have tried on multiple devices – explorer, chrome and safari on an iphone.
Every time it is the same issue – there is a white border above and below my slider which shouldn’t be there.
Can you send me a screenshot of how it looks for you?
I’ve attached a screenshot below of how it looks exactly the same in explorer (I usually use Chrome).
I can’t understand how yours could be different.

Ben
Hi,
I’v just realised that this may be linked to another ticket.
The header may be transparent but the reason it is showing as white is because the homepage “thinks” there is a full size revolution slider there – but it’s not.
So it’s actually the white background on the revolution slider, not the header.
I really need to get rid of those white spaces above and below, I’ve tried added the custom CSS below and it made no difference.
#page-container .wpb_revslider_element.wpb_content_element { margin-bottom: 0; }
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I believe that the header space at the top was due to my header settings, which now appear to be fixed.
However, there is still a large white gap underneath the slider that is due to changing the size of the slider.
It wasn’t there before I changed the size.
See the attached screenshot.
OK, so on the left column, there is a full text editor – like the one I’m submitting this comment in.
However, for the right column – there is no text editor.
But when you enter HTML, it does not work = see the screen shot below.
Shot 1 is me entering some html.
Shot 2 shows that it registers in the site builder.
Shot 3 shows that when I press “update” – the text defaults back to “lorem ipsum” and displays that on the website.
How do I make the right hand column fully “editable” like the left hand column?
Does that make more sense?
Regards
Ben
Thanks for your reply.
I thought it might be easier adding questions into one thread so I didn’t fill up the forum! – But I’ll start another thread, thank you for letting me know.
And as always, thank you for your help.

Ben
Sorry, one more thing.
When you add a “Text Group” box, the left column is fully customisable whereas the right column is HTML only.
PLus it appears that when changing the text colour via html, it still appears as default on the web page.
You’ll see this in the contact form at the bottom of the page.
And how do you get the little grey line to seperate two half columns – as can be seen on the contact form of you weddings page.
Thanks
Ben
Yeh sure, I’ve added it below.
There also appears to now be issues with the header which I have been able to get rid of before but cannot fix this time, could you have a look please.
(I think it may have something to do with the fact that I’ve imported so much demo data to copy the settings for my own home page – that’s when the header messed up with the code:
<b>Warning</b>: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <b>/home/benjam47/public_html/wp-content/themes/jevelin/inc/elements/header-builder/header.php</b> on line <b>167</b>
I’ve figured out the grey background.
It’s just moving the text along to the left more that I’m stuck with now.
Thanks
Ben
Sure. Thanks for your help.
Solution for this topic
Please ignore this message.
I have just discovered the “import demo data” option in appearance.
Amazing!

Solution for this topic
Apologies, I hadn’t realised the extensions needed to be updated.
I have now resolved the issue.

Hi,
Thanks for your help, that has worked perfectly.
I also have more thing I hoped you might be able to take a look at.
If you add an icon to the navigation header, it works fine on a desktop but when you open the menu on an iphone, the text sits on top of the icon.
Is there a way of fixing this?
See my attached screenshot for more info.
Thanks
Ben
Hi,
Yes, that seems to have worked.
The error message in the header has disappeared and all of my fonts are back to how they were.
Thanks for your help! 🙂
