Hi @joanna.harris,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
The theme is stable and is being used by users on thousands of sites without any issue.
We need to troubleshoot the issue on your site to resolve it.
The only theme required plugin is Unyson plugin and all other plugins are optional including Slider Revolution and WpBakery so please try only using Unyson plugin.
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
We are having issues with the stability of the theme mainly because there are a large amount of plugins required to make it work.
Unyson stops working regularly so we have to keep reinstalling to bring our portfolio back.
WP Bakery does not work fully, in particular it does not refresh as you are building even though we are running the latest version.
We purchased the premium version of Slider revolution also to try and see if this made a difference but it hasnt.
I think it would be useful to have a list of absolutely necessary plugins to make the theme work and then the other optionals so we can start uninstalling and see if we can make our site stable again.
Your advice on this would be much appreciated.
I just purchased theme. Every other plugin will install except Revolution slider. I get this error:
<div class=”wrap”>
“Downloading installation package from <span class=”code”>https://cdn.shufflehound.com/theme-plugins/slider-revolution-QB4L22.zip</span>…
Download failed. Service Unavailable
</div>
Plugin not activated. A higher version of Revolution slider is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.”
Alternatively, the One Click Demo will not install either, I get this error:
“An error occurred while fetching file from: https://api.shufflehound.com/jevelin/ocdi_wpbakery_files/beauty/beauty_content.xml!
Reason: 503 – Service Unavailable.”
Please help ASAP
when I install revolution slider it says the following. <span style=”display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #333333; cursor: text; font-family: Georgia,’Times New Roman’,’Bitstream Charter’,Times,serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;”>Plugin not activated. A higher version of Revolution slider is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin</span>
I just bought theme tonight, where do I find “Updated versions’???
Hi Bryan,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
If you want to use the same slider used on the demo site then you can import that demo content on your site as described in the below page.
https://support.shufflehound.com/installing-demo/
You can use the slider from one demo into another. Please refer the below plugin documentation to know how to use the slider on other pages.

Hi There,
I would like to create a revolution slider pretty much exactly like the one featured on your “Fifth Header” example page. Is there a quicker way of creating than doing it from scratch? Similarly, is there a way to use Revolution Slider examples from one demo in another demo I’m using without switching demos? I like the demo I’m currently using but might want to use on that’s set up for another demo for efficiency (rather than building one from scratch).
Thanks,
Bryan
The 504 error is a server related error that you can resolve as described in the below pages.
https://kinsta.com/blog/504-gateway-timeout/
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-504-gateway-timeout-error-in-wordpress/
https://www.hostinger.in/tutorials/504-gateway-timeout
https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/troubleshoot-504-error-wordpress/
Please make sure that the slider revolution plugin is active on your site when you import the demo content so that the slider images get imported.
If it still doesn’t work for you then would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporary share me your site admin log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able see it)”?
I bought Jevelin and I am trying to use the import. But I keep getting the message that I need to instal Revolution Slider, but when i try to do so I get this error that it is not found.
What to do?
Hi @aoxenrider,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
i tried to delete the plugin and reinstall it. it said it was installed correctly
Ok then it means the plugin is installed on your site.
however it also says product not activated
If you have not purchased slider revolution plugin and using the plugin bundled with the theme then you are not direct customer of that plugin so can not activate that plugin.
Please see more information about this on the following pages.
https://www.themepunch.com/faq/purchase-code-registration-faqs/#1447194367831-7941a825-85b2
https://www.themepunch.com/faq/update-to-5-0-via-ftp/
To use the plugin you don’t need activation code, you can just install and activate the plugin from Appearance -> Install Plugins
and it does not contain any slider images in it for the website to load.
I am not sure which slider images you are referring to so could you please describe it a bit more in detail by sharing its screenshot?
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
while installing the new theme that i have just purchased, I attempted to install and activate the plugins as instructed. They all installed correctly except the revolution slider plugin. It attempted to install for a few minutes then I received a “405 error not allowed” im almost certain something is wrong with this plugin.
since the plugin did not install correctly the website template is flawed please help me get this plugin operational so I can use the website template.
i tried to delete the plugin and reinstall it. it said it was installed correctly however it also says product not activated and it does not contain any slider images in it for the website to load.
I am having a problem where I am unable to get rid of a white bar at the bottom of the website. I have hidden the copyright bar and turned off the developer bar, but there is still a white bar below my footer revolution slider on the home page.
Can you please advise on how I can fix this.
Thank you so much!
Hi Shufflehound,
I am having issues turning the background of the menu bar to transparent and have it overlaying the the slider revolution background image. Can you please advise on how to do this. I would also like to change the font to white, one the white background menu bar is changed to transparent.
Thank you.
But still, in mobile view, it’s not looking good. There is a lot of gap in the top section of the page.
It is a revolution slider height related issue.
You can try changing its height as described in the following pages.
https://www.themepunch.com/faq/unlimited-height/
https://orionthemes.com/knowledgebase/how-to-change-the-height-of-revolution-slider/
Can you also help me with how to increase the loading speed of the website?
There can be various other reasons why your site is loading slow as described in the following pages.
https://www.bitcatcha.com/blog/2015/10-frustrating-reasons-why-your-website-speed-is-slow/
https://www.pickaweb.co.uk/kb/website-running-slow/
https://gtmetrix.com/why-is-my-page-slow.html
You can improve your site performance as described in the following pages.
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wordpress-performance-speed/
https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Optimization/WordPress_Performance
https://wpengine.com/blog/page-speed-wordpress-performance/
https://themetrust.com/test-wordpress-site-performance/
To optimize images and load them faster, you can use any of the following plugins.
I just recently updated my Jevelin theme as well as updated the Unyson and WP Bakery plugins. After I did that, all of my new pages I was trying to create that were still in “draft” form have stopped working. Whenever I try to preview them or edit them in WP Bakery it shows me an Internal Server Error 500 (see attached). The same thing happens when I try to create a completely new page. I can’t do it. All my previously published pages seem to work normally still.
I disabled all my plugins except Unyson, Slider Revolution, and WooCommerce, and I had the same issue. If I disable my Unyson plugin, I can view my pages, but it says “forbidden” on it (see other attached file).
Everything worked fine before the update. So I think that it has to be something with the update of either the theme, or maybe even the update of the Unyson plugin.
Hi @mojtabashx,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
It is created using Slider Revolution plugin that you can use in the header as described in the below topic.

Yes, it is bundled with the theme and you can install it from Admin Area -> Appearance -> Install Plugins after activating the theme.
is it possible sset up a revolution slider from jevelin foodie demo: https://jevelin.shufflehound.com/foodie/

Hell I just bought jevelin theme and try to set up first revolution slider
I want to ask 2 questions:
I solved it. Of some reason, adding a graduation cap to the slider revolution put them everywhere on the home page. Thanks anyway!
No, the templates are not bundled so you have to purchase them but all basic slider revolution functionality is bundled as displayed on the demo site.
