My blog post excerpts are showing code rather than the excerpt text.

If you go to the link and scroll down and click “Smartphones”, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Is there an obvious solution to this that I’m missing?

    Hi @jld1832,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You have to add post excerpt in the excerpt field of post as described in this page http://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/excerpt/

You can also refer following topics for the more information on it.

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

Unfortunately, there was no change after I tried that.

    Any other solutions?

    No other solution currently.

Could you please tell me what you have tried and share the screenshot of your post excerpt field?

I have tried using the excerpt field with no luck. That’s that only thing I could think of.

It seems you are using older version 2.4.3 of theme on your site so could you please update it to following latest version of theme?

If updating theme doesn’t work for you then would you mind if i log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Click here to share private content. Only you and forum moderators will bee able see it.”?
