i did what you proposed but is not working. You had fixed the bug in previous updates but now with the latest update it came back.
The problem is when you have non-latin characters like Greek in the current situation. If i place the slug with latin characters it works, if i place greek characters on slug or name then it does not show anything.

After installing the latest version, the problem with the greek came back.

Is there any way i can use the lightcase plugin you use for the gallery for all images on site? Even the ones that are standalone?

your solutions does part of what i want to achieve. What i noticed is that it does not have that hover effect (something like slow loading, instead it just appears or not without effect) and even though i click on it nothing happens while on gallery i get a lightbox when i press on a photo.

The photos that appear as gallery have a hover effect were you show the description. Below is a single photo that does not open in lightbox or have the description as i describe.
Would be preferable to use exactly as it is on gallery.

That is not the solution. I did that trick myself, thats how i found that english characters display correctly. If i change slug to Greek language then i will have again the same problem. I cannot use only latin characters.
Please this has to be resolved. Maybe with a modification of the “blog-posts-categories.php” element code we can place slug but display the category name instead of the slug name.
