Could you please share me the screenshot of the whole screen where you have configured the settings to display three columns so that I can troubleshoot it?

Please see screenshot below. I have played around with this – if I change it to 2 columns, then the products are shown in a single column, with this blank column still to the right.

Furthermore, if as per the screenshot I select 4 columns, and set “Woocommerse Layout” to default AND add in the CSS code, then it displays perfectly.  But without the CSS code it doesn’t work – same problem with the blank column to the right.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Jevelin theme as displayed in the attached screenshot.

Please try temporarily removing the custom CSS code from your site and deactivating the fusion plugin.

I have done this, and still I am seeing issues.

The only way I can figure out how to display the categories, is by showing them in the sidebar, as currently displayed on the page here. However, by doing that the products are reduced to two columns and a blank column again – assuming this requires a change to the CSS again? If so, is there a way to have slightly more padding between the sidebar and products?

Thanks – the CSS code has worked.

I have updated to the most recent version and I still can’t activate the categories. Stuck between a rock and a hard place here as Woocommerce was my first point of call, and they sent be to theme developers.

Not sure how to resolve this…

On a separate note – how do I change the look of my products from how they are displaying here, to look like in this demo (the card look with a shadow)

On my shop page settings in Appearance > Theme Options > Woocommerce the number of columns is set to 4. On the page it shows upas 4 columns, however the 4th column is blank. How do I fix this?

You can resolve it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

I have pasted the code as described, however the shop page still only shows three populated columns on the left with a blank column to the right

I can’t seem to have by product categories displayed on the shop page. I have been in contact with Woocommerce support and they said to reach out to my theme developers. Apparently you activate the setting in WordPress > Woocommerce > Settings > Product and then select the option “Display” – however that option is not appearing in my menu. Any advice?

I am not sure which option you are talking about and what you are trying to achieve here so could you please describe it a bit more in detail?

Woocommerce allows you on the main shop page to first display the product categories (or a selection there of) and then followed by all the individual products. This allows visitors to reduce the list of available products based on a selected category (or view all of them). My shop page only shows ALL available products and I am not able to have the categories displayed.

Use this URL to visit the page.

Also – is there a way to make the portrait style product images the same height as the landscape ones?

Thanks – I have just published the site to share with you, and it seems to be working now for some reason. Now I can just use YellowPencil.

Thanks for the above. By pasting in the shortcode in a Text content element, I now have content pulling through on the page. However, it does not display correctly nor is it usable as a contact form (screenshot below). I am unable to figure out how to fix that with YellowPencil – can you help?

Hi – thanks I have tried that, but don’t know you to then combine it with the rest of the page design in the visual page builder?

To make it work on single blog post page, use the attached small plugin that contains the following code.

The already used images are not resized automatically to the new sizes, you have to use the following plugin to regenerate the images with new sizes.

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/

Thanks – this is fairly cumbersome, but has worked.

Try using below CSS code to achieve this.

This has worked to a degree as the image is the right size and now lines up at the bottom with the white text block, however the white text block is still bigger at the top.

For the individual blog posts, is it possible to also amend the dimensions for the header images, as they are still cutting off the bottom part of the photo. I would want these to also be in a 3:2 ratio.

    Hi,

Thank you. This has worked on the main blog page, however not for the featured image of the individual blog post. Screenshot attached.

Also – is there a way to get the blog text preview box (on the main page) to then be the same height has the image? Screenshot attached.

I have manage to fix the issue where it is stretching the header images, but because of the different ratio it is cutting off part of my logo – see the two screenshots below.

Is there a way in which I can force the header image for the individual blog posts to be in a 3:2 ratio? That is how I shoot all my images.

Thanks. That doesn’t work either, as now the feature image is not wide enough to fit the rest of the post.

The problem with the feature image is, that it is used in different sizes across various components, e.g:

    • As the Blog header it is in a ratio of 1.777777
    • Using the blog content box minimalist it is in a ratio of 1.6
    • I use the “Mix” layout of the page where it is in a ratio of 1.36

That makes it really hard to correctly position a logo on my images without it looking unprofessional in some shape or form.

The only way around this I can see is to re-visit every single previous blog post, re-export a header image without a watermark / logo (which I am not really keen on) and changing it over. This much effort really makes me regret switching over to this theme 🙁

Actually – don’t worry, I have managed to solve it by activating the carousel.

    Hi,

This has not resolved the issue – i just want the main header images for my blog posts just to appear as they have been uploaded. But as per the example above they are stretched.
