It seems this is not working on your site because you have changed / added videos on your site.

You can update theme by downloading latest version of theme on clicking on the below button and then use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/ on your site to update it.

The facebook widget is not inactive but this is how it works which you can also confirm on theme demo site here https://gillion.shufflehound.com/ You can change the default image which you have shared, from the facebook widget settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
The badge is displaying fine for me on chrome browser. I don’t have mac safari browser but does the same happen for you on our demo site here https://gillion.shufflehound.com/ ?
