i tried to delete the plugin and reinstall it. it said it was installed correctly
Ok then it means the plugin is installed on your site.
however it also says product not activated
If you have not purchased slider revolution plugin and using the plugin bundled with the theme then you are not direct customer of that plugin so can not activate that plugin.

To use the plugin you don’t need activation code, you can just install and activate the plugin from Appearance -> Install Plugins
and it does not contain any slider images in it for the website to load.
I am not sure which slider images you are referring to so could you please describe it a bit more in detail by sharing its screenshot?

Would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting by importing it? If this is ok then could you please temporary share me your site admin log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able see it)”?
In your shared screenshot I can see that you are editing the column but instead, you should edit the section as shown in the attached screenshot.

Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here.
