I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me without displaying that symbol using the latest version of the Jevelin theme.

Yes, it is secure.
I could confirm the issue on my test site which only occurs when we set Post Style to ‘Standard (with title at the top)’ as shown in the attached screenshot, therefore, I notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.
In the meanwhile, you can set Post Style to Standard in the theme options.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code
