You can achieve it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code
#page-container .sh-header-mobile-navigation .sh-nav-container { padding: 0; }After using the above shared CSS code, please clear the cache on your site.

I have provided the URL in the private information field. There is only a single page to the site, the homepage. That is where emails are collected, which need to be tied to MailChimp.
That is just a contact form and not a MailChimp form.
Why do you think it is a MailChimp form?
For the background image, I do not have the same screen layout. Please look at my screen layout – it is HTML only.
To get that screen layout, you have to activate the Page Builder extension of Unyson plugin.

But after using it, there’s still a lot of empty space there. Is there anything I can do to minimize it and make the mobile content go further up?
I don’t see that much space on your shared site as shown in the attached screenshot.
Have you removed it?
Also, what can I do to make the desktop menu appear in the center of the page? I’m using header template #1

The “This API project is not authorized to use this API.” error has nothing to do with the theme settings but it is the issue with Google Maps JavaScript API services and your site so please contact the Google support to resolve it.
