You can remove featured image by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

It has nothing to do with theme compatibility.
Please make sure you are using below latest version of theme and activated Unyson mega menu extension as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/forums/topic/website-broken-after-creating-a-menu/#post-8434

Delete child theme folders first then upload.

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
Please try using below latest version of theme.
This can be child theme issue on your site so to confirm it just temporary use the Jevelin theme instead of child theme on your site. If everything works fine then it’s your child theme issue so just share me your child theme so that i can troubleshoot it.

Shufflehound teamIt is not shrinking the image but displaying the actual image size that you have set which you can see visiting the image URL shared in the Private information field.
Could you please share the screenshot of error message that you are getting?
Also instead of installing child theme using filezilla, could you please install it from theme uploader in the admin area?
