I could confirm the issue on my test site using left light header style therefore notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.

3. On my Home page, I have a strange empty space between the header
menu and the first content element (image). I think I removed all
paddings, all titlebars etc. but I still have this empty space.Could you please share me your site URL where it’s displaying so that i can help you to remove it?

This seems causing by new Unyson plugin update so please make sure to use latest version of Unyson plugin and update its extensions as described in the following topic.

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
I visited your shared site and found it is generating following error message in browser console causing social icons font not to load.
Access to Font at 'http://www.disneybrit.com/wp-content/themes/gillion/fonts/Simple-Line-Icons.ttf?v=2.2.2' from origin 'http://disneybrit.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://disneybrit.com' is therefore not allowed access.
Please make sure you are using same URL in your site General settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

If I make changes to a published page and press update, the page refreshes and again, none of the changes have been saved.

If I delete the current version, and re-upload the new version, will all my previous changes etc. still be there or do they get deleted as well (doing it this way)?

You can remove that blank spaces using below custom CSS code.
.post-meta a.post-meta-date { padding-left: 0; }Out of curiosity, is it pretty easy to remove the category selector, but display a particular category (rather than all categories)?
If you tell me which particular category you want to display on your site then i can develop custom CSS code to achieve this.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using below latest version of Jevelin theme as displayed in the attached screenshot.
The colors values are on RGBA format to support transparency. You can just use any of the following tools to convert HEX value to RGBA
