Try using following custom CSS code for mobile site.
.sh-header-mobile-navigation .sh-nav-container, .sh-header-mobile-navigation .header-logo { padding: 10px 0; }Try clearing your browser cache or using different browser.
Just use the provided custom CSS code on the site where you want to apply the changes.

Actually you are not getting the point that theme hard coding means saving data in theme code and not in the database and the data saved in database like image URLs are never hard coded.

I could confirm the issue on my test site therefore notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.
In the meanwhile you can remove it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

Please make sure you have enabled pagination in the theme settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
I cleared the cache and I still get pages like this http://wearemidlife.com/author/wearemidlife/ I’m attaching a screen shot of what I see. If you click on any of those images nothing happens and it really shouldn’t look like this.

Please temporary disable cache on your site so that i can troubleshoot it.
When I click on theme documentation, there is nothing there. I deleted the theme from my WordPress site, but will try to install again and go through the process once more.
Please make sure you are using following latest version of theme.
I can find nothing to get rid of the Gillion logo and I do not want to add a logo of my own at this time, just the title of my site.
You can get rid of logo by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.

If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Click here to share private content. Only you and forum moderators will bee able see it.”?
I don’t see 50px white apce above the logo as shown in the attached screenshot.

Yes you can try achieving this using slider revolution layers but there isn’t ready made solution of it.
