You can achieve it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

Please could you tell me how I edit the ‘Suggested Categories’ ie, to remove the Ad Banner and add something else?
I am not sure which ‘Suggested Categories’ section you are referring here and where it is displaying so could you please share the screenshot of it?
Also, I’d like to edit the social media options (eg, Red bar for Google+ and number) that appear in Stay Connected side bar, but I can’t work out how to remove the options that I don’t have set up yet.
You can remove it from “Shufflehound Social Counter” widget as displayed in the attached screenshot.

How do I toggle off the Top bar. I can’t seem to find that option.
Not sure what you are referring as top bar here so could you please share the screenshot of it or your site URL where it is displaying?
Also, how do I change the menu color.
You can change it from theme styling settings as shown in the attached screenshots.

Currently there isn’t any theme option to achieve this so you have to export your site whole data in to another site.

Are you using Max Mega Menu plugin or the theme mega menu?

Shufflehound teamI tried to imitate demo content as much as I could, but I couldn’t change the header image as I wanted. So, uninstall and reinstall everything you need for troubleshoothing and demo content works. I already have a backup. If you can install the demo for me and check that everything is well, I´ll feel so fine.
If the Demo content works for you then why do you want me to install it again?
I don´t know if demo should be installed in “jevelin” or “jevelin-child” or both of them. Anyway I use to work with the child-theme.
Content any WordPress site is theme independent so you can use any theme that you want but child theme is recommended.
