You can try resolving it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

Yes, the user role should be an administrator.
The shared user account does not seem an admin because I can’t access all admin menus as shown in the attached screenshot.

Ok, thanks! I was able to remove the blank in the top padding; but I am still not able to put up one background image that is over header and first columns. I tried to add both possibilities background images (please see attached screenshots), but it´s never covering header + upper of the page: Where do I need to upload correctly the background image?
